"Derek's book teaches lessons it took guys like me years to learn. Quite honestly, I believe the advice in this book resonates far beyond the racing industry" - Mario Andretti
Why do some racing teams and drivers succeed so brilliantly while others fail to reach their full potential? After a remarkable racing career that spanned nearly two decades, author Derek Daly turned his attention to the mechanics of success.
He shares his experience and research with readers in his new book, Race to Win.
The book is a step by step manual for drivers, mechanics, team managers and parents to follow if they want to be successful in motorsports. Daly reveals his Champion's Pyramid, six qualities that a driver needs to master and balance to succeed in racing and in life. It analyzes what made Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Mario Andretti along with many more champions successful, and how drivers can adapt what these champions did into their own routine. Personal choices are what separate champions from pretenders and this book demonstrates how to make the right choices.
