After months of restoration a Ferrari 312 B2 was reunited with its former driver Jacky Ickx at the Historic Grand Prix held in Monaco on Saturday May 12. The car which is owned by Speedmaster and which is currently for sale was tested by racing driver James Hanson the Managing Director of Speedmaster and Brian Redmond.
James said: “The car drove perfectly, we didn’t even get time to test it before Brian drove. It cruised effortlessly around the track without using a single drop of oil.”
James also came second driving the 1963 Sirocco BRM in the Pre-1966 Rear Engine Grand Prix race, where the car achieved its best ever finish beating its previous best when it finished five laps behind the winner during the Austrian Grand Prix in 1963.
The Sirocco is also up for sale for £185,000.
