BERWICK promoter Peter Waite has stressed that the club must find a buyer within the next fortnight to guarantee its future.Waite is standing down after a decade in charge of the Bandits, which finished with runners-up spot in the Young Shield.He said: "We need a buyer in the next two weeks or Berwick Speedway may well end on a low, which is not what the supporters and staff deserve."

KING'S LYNN reserve Kozza Smith has finished the season with his left arm in plaster after delaying hospital treatment.He crashed at Edinburgh and also needs x-rays on his back, although he raced on to  help the Stars in their bid to reach the promotion play-offs.Smith said: "I thought I'd broken my scaphoid again but they think it's a small bone between the thumb and the finger."
