British Historic Rally coverage starts on Motors TV
The opening round of the Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship, the Bulldog Historic Rally, will first be screened on Motors TV at 9.15pm on Saturday 17 April. The BHRC report will be the programme immediately ahead of coverage of the WRC Rally of Turkey.As well as the initial prime-time slot on Motors TV, each programme will have several repeats in the week after the initial transmission. Importantly, coverage of the opening two rallies will be broadcast within three weeks of the event. On the Bulldog, there were six cameras out capturing all the action form the 80-strong BHRC field. Alastair Miller of AMTV is supplying first class on-board footage for the BHRC in 2010.All eight rounds of the BHRC will be televised this year, with dedicated hour-long programmes on Motors TV supported by 'My Life Story'. Acceleration Television and Video, the company headed by David Winstanley, will exclusively film all eight rallies and produce television programmes and DVDs. Tailored DVDs based around individual competitors are also available.For those who want a permanent record of the event, Acceleration will be offering 75-minute DVDs of each round of the BHRC, covering all the cars.
