STOKE have announced the signing of Czech Republic rider Lubos Tomicek to replace Claus Vissing. The move concluded a hectic week of activity at Loomer Road as Vissing seemed set to return to the Elite League, only for that to fall through - but the Dane still sees his future at that level. The Potters had initially named Henning Bager as Vissing's replacement, but it transpired that he would only be available for a month.Promoter Dave Tattum said: "Unfortunately Henning could only join us until August 7, so after further discussions with him we looked at other options. "Lubos had been in touch with us several times in the week, we spoke to him and he was able to commit for the rest of this season with the possibility, if things go well, of next season also."
