Round 6: Crimson Dynamo Autotest, August 8 Richard Pinkney won round six of the Link Up Ltd MSA British Autotest Championship, the Crimson Dynamo, with his second Fastest Time of the Day this season. The absence from competition of newly crowned champion Alastair Moffatt made Pinkney the firm favourite, although he languished in ninth place overall following the first set of runs after wrong-testing.Dave Evans was enjoying a strong run in the Blitz Special and held a slim lead after the second round. However, a recovering Pinkney was closing fast and, when Evans and Ian Chapman also wrong-tested, he vaulted into a lead that he maintained to the finish. The result secures second place for Pinkney in the 2010 championship standings.Results1 Richard Pinkney (Caterham) 638.5 2 David Thompson (Vauxhall Nova) 655.03 Duncan Wild (ABS Freestyle) 680.84 Malcolm Livingston (Lindsay Special) 681.05 Keith Walton (Locost KW7) 681.36 Dave Evans (Blitz Special) 681.5Round 7: JCS Kegworth Loughborough Autotest, September 5
