Rounds 7 & 8: Genk, August 12-15 Nathan Aston and Tom Harvey earned a win apiece on Belgian soil as the MSA British Cadet Kart Championship headed for Genk. Harvey opened his weekend’s account with victory in an astounding final on Saturday, taking the lead on the final lap as an 18-kart train battled for the lead and traded places at every corner.Harvey’s win moved him ahead of Aston in the championship standings, but the latter fought back on Sunday with a brilliant display in torrential rain. Having taken the lead on the opening tour Aston pulled away by nearly one second per lap, eventually winning by 10 to retake the points advantage from Harvey, who retired.
