Tickets are now on sale for the FIM Swedish Speedway Grand Prix at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium on May 14, 2011. Fans who book their tickets before December 31, 2010 could save up to 50 SEK on the full price and prices start from 250 SEK for adults and 110 SEK for children.
BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy said: “While we are yet to crown a Swedish winner in the Ullevi Stadium, one of the home riders has won a place on the rostrum every year apart from 2003. Freddie Lindgren almost scored a seven-rider maximum in 2008 and Andreas Jonsson was third last year.
“Either of these two or the likes of Magnus Zetterstrom, Antonio Lindback and Thomas H Jonasson, who made a super SGP debut in Malilla, could make it a night to remember for the home fans. So I hope supporters will take advantage of our early booking offer and save money by securing their seats before the end of the year.”
Anders Albertsson, Ullevi’s stadium manager, is looking forward to welcoming the SGP Series back to the historic venue: “From the old World Final days to the FIM Swedish Grand Prix, speedway has an incredible history at Ullevi. As ever, we are determined to make the 2011 meeting bigger and better, and perhaps we’ll be celebrating our first Swedish gold medallist at the stadium.”
