Hispania Racing driver looking forward to racing at his favourite circuit
Following a period of training in his native Brazil during the mid-season break, Bruno Senna is looking forward to racing at his favourite circuit, Spa-Francorchamps, for the first time in Formula One.
When the Championship resumes in Belgium this weekend, Bruno will be determined to build on another mature, faultless performance in Hungary and focused on helping Hispania Racing find further pace and consistency.
Having raced at Spa every year since 2005, Bruno is thrilled at the prospect of returning as a Formula One driver: "It is my favourite circuit and the first time there in a Formula One car will be very special for me; I really enjoy racing at Spa so am looking forward to driving the car for the first time there this weekend."
The famous circuit presents its own unique challenges but Bruno is confident in his ability to deal with its demands and thinks his car will be well suited to Spa: "It’s a fast circuit with challenging high speed corners and nice gradient changes. It will test the car’s high speed stability and balance but the downforce levels required are in line with what we have in our car, so I am confident we can do a good job."
