Lola 2011 LMP1 - Technology Ready prototype

Carrying forward the winning momentum of its highly successful LMP1 Coupe design, Lola today announces its 2011 “Technology Ready” customer prototype-racing car.

Lola’s research into complimentary and alternative energy sources combined with new technologies now shapes the customer LMP 1 offering for 2011 prototype racing.

The Lola design team have developed instillation techniques to accommodate KERS and Hybrid Technologies into the Lola Coupe and in line with the 2011 regulations.

Lola have an enviable record in global endurance competition, especially since the introduction of the B98/10 in 1999. A remarkable total of 14 different engines have powered Lola LMP cars since 2005, with the Huntingdon constructor servicing the very best customer teams in the business.

Mr Martin Birrane, Executive Chairman and owner of Lola Cars International Ltd said; “Lola continues to be a progressive company with our designer team and engineers continuously pushing the technological boundaries. Products such as these would usually only be available to major automotive manufacturers so I am delighted, once again, that we are able to bring the latest technology to our customers”.

Lola also announced today a price freeze on its LMP spare parts until 2nd April 2011.
