Masters Historic Racing will open its 2011 season with its annual ‘noisy’ test day at Donington Park on Thursday March 10th.
The test day comes just two days before the opening race meeting of the Masters Top Hat season at Oulton Park on March 12th and the Thursday test is sure to be popular with competitors using the day as a shakedown for Oulton Park or as a test day before the first European historic festival of 2011, the Masters-operated Catalan Classic at the Barcelona GP circuit on April 8-10th.
The Donington test day is open to all Masters competitors and allows every spectrum of Masters’ and Top Hat categories to hit the track: from Grand Prix Masters Formula 1 cars and new Masters Sports-Prototype ‘Group C’ cars to the Oldies but Goldies 1950s saloons and Stars of the 70s cars that race in the Top Hat racedays.
