Basis for the Racecar logo - the iconic Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale wins "Best in Show" at Villa D'Este. Love to say that as it is UK registered as it is one of the Racecar company cars usually parked outside the office - but that would be pure fantasy...I mean - it's not even a twin front headlamp model ;)
(Thanks to uber Ferrari Historian - Marcel Massini - for use of the picture of this car)
In the RM Auction - some big tackle found new homes including 375mm, 500 TRC and the exquisite Lamborghini Marzal - which evoked thoughts of the Matchbox model I owned of this unique car when I were a lad etc etc.
However the GT40, 250 MM and Bugatti Type 57 failed to reach quite enough.
Looking at the RM site - 23 of the 32 cars sold.
