GREAT Britain have been drawn against Australia, Denmark and a qualifier forthe semi-final of the World Under-21 Team Cup to be staged at Scunthorpe.It means the likes of Darcy Ward, Michael Jepsen Jensen and the Scorpions'own Thomas Jorgensen are likely to feature in the meeting on May 27 - andpromoter Rob Godfrey has described it as "the perfect draw."
Godfrey said: "The draw is a tough one for the British side, but I'm surewhatever team is put out the bulldog spirit will see the team use everyounce of home track advantage to try and get a result.
"Whoever wins, it has the makings of an outstanding speedway meeting."
BERWICK have snapped up Czech Republic star Filip Sitera on loan from EliteLeague King's Lynn.
The 23-year-old will race at Premier League level for the first time withthe Bandits also confirming that Swedish duo Linus Eklof and Ludvig Lindgrenwill not be part of their 2012 line-up.
Manager Ian Rae said: "Filip comes to us with a pretty good record so far. Ithink we're lucky to attract such a class act, especially on a confirmedaverage of only 5.15.
