Preview Rounds 5 & 6: Winter Series at Homestead Miami Speedway
This week, the Skip Barber presents the Mazda Winter Series picks up again for Rounds 5 and 6 at Homestead Miami Speedway. At Rounds 3 and 4 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Colin Wall clinched his first two wins in the Formula Skip Barber car, tying for first in the championship points with Jack Mitchell, Jr., who also earned two wins this season. Nick Neri currently leads the rookie points, just three points behind the championship leaders. In the MAZDASPEED Challenge, Rookie Nelson Canache clinched both race wins at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and advanced to first in the championship standing, holding an eight-point lead over Grand Master Steve Randall and Bryan Hixon.
