Masters Historic Racing has confirmed it will again form the feature race content at the 2013 Catalan Classic Festival in Barcelona on April 12-14.

For the third year in a row, Masters will work with event promoter Jesus Pozo to provide all-action grids for the sole Spanish historic motor racing festival. GP Masters, WSM, Gentlemen Drivers Pre-66 GT Cars and Pre-66 Touring Cars will feature on the 2013 programme, and Masters is looking at working with other European historic race series to enhance the on-track content.

Masters Historic Racing event manager Rachel Bailey said: We are delighted to be able to announce our continued involvement with the Catalan Classic Festival and Jesus Pozo. We have built a strong working relationship with Jesus and have been thrilled to see his event grow and become even stronger. We are looking at taking many of our existing series but will be working with other historic race series promoters to give the event and Spanish race fans the ultimate weekend of racing. We will confirm the event content shortly.

The event will be more than just on-track action. There will be an air show with classic aeroplanes, a concours delegance, the Targa Catalunya (a classic car rally running on three circuits around the Barcelona area), a celebration of 25 years of the Ferrari F40 plus music for fans young and old.
