SHELSLEY TRUST 2 JAGUAR CARS RAFFLE
Sir Stirling Moss drew the two ‘2 Jags raffle’ winning tickets out of the hat on Saturday 21st February at the International Historic MotorSport Show at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. Over 16,000 people came through the doors to see what is immediately the best Historic Motor Sport Exhibition in the country.
The two lucky winners were Mr Alan Davies of Brackley and Mr Jeremy Brewster of Finstall near Bromsgrove.
A trip courtesy of The Pendragon Motor Group to their flagship showrooms in Mayfair, London will see the winners presented with their Jaguar X Type 2 litre V6s with dateless number plates and a year’s free insurance courtesy of Footman James....all of which followed by lunch at Langhams.
The raffle grossed £75,000 on behalf of the preserving Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill Climb for the future. The current funds raised amounts to £0.5m. Negotiations are continuing with the Shelsley Walsh landlords and have come along in leaps and bounds in recent weeks. There will be important news very soon concerning further money raising activities.

SHELSLEY WALSH WINS SPEED EVENT OF THE YEAR – 2003
At the Historic Motor Sport Awards charity dinner on Saturday 21st February, Shelsley Walsh bagged the Speed event of the 2003 season when up against stiff competition.

The award was presented by former British Rally Champion Russell Brookes to former British Hill Climb Champion and Chairman of the Shelsley Trust, Martyn Griffiths.
