Take your classic car on The Road to Mandalay

H&H Classic Rallies has announced The Road to Mandalay, a three-week pioneering rally, offering participants the chance to drive the roads of this mysterious country, as well as meet the people and see the amazing sights which have been hidden from the world for so long.

Open to classics up to 1972, H&H Classic Rallies has secured permission from the authorities to bring cars into the country for an exceptional 2,312km road trip. Current laws prohibit cars crossing the borders, so we are delighted to offer a rally which explores every part of this great country readily accessible by road.

The Road to Mandalay will take participants to the iconic sights of Myanmar, where we will discover the amazing richness of the country. From Yangon to Naypyidaw, the new capital, and from Inle Lake to Mandalay and on to Bagan, every day will have a richness of treasures to explore.

"Our route has been carefully researched to ensure our participants not only get great roads for driving, but also see all the major sights, and some surprising locations not on the tourist routes. We aim to give everyone the ultimate experience in a country so new to events of this type. We are sure of a big welcome wherever we go," said Liz Wenman, Managing Director, H&H Classic Rallies.

Participants can enjoy The Road to Mandalay in the knowledge that they are supported by a highly-experienced and professional team, who manage the event right from the outset, researching and recceing the route, produce a clear and accurate road book, source the very best available hotels, have fully-equipped, specialist mechanics and medics vehicles and always offer a high standard of customer service.
