LAKESIDE staged a dramatic comeback to snatch their first-ever away win at Poole with a 48-45 victory on Wednesday. The Hammers trailed by ten points early on but had Peter Karlsson and skipper Davey Watt in fine form, and took the lead with a series of 5-1sholding on for their win when the Pirates Maciej Janowski hit trouble in the last race.Lakeside co-promoter Jon Cook said: We told the lads prior to our match at Poole that we needed a positive reaction after being dire on Monday at Coventry and we got it. CLAUS Vissing is set to return to the Edinburgh team for their home League Cup clash with Glasgow on Friday. The Dane suffered shoulder damage when he crashed out at Scunthorpe on Bank Holiday Monday, but the results from a check-up have been positive and he should take his place in a meeting the Monarchs need to win to book a place in the semi-finals.Vissing said: It is just the muscles which were hurt, but today (Wednesday) it feels a lot better. The worst thing is actually my little finger which I caught under the clutch lever and tore off the nail!
