It was the third round of the British Maxxis Motocross Championship at the weekend at Milton Motocross Parc in Northampton. The track was tight and rough and very demanding for the three MJW Kick Kawasaki riders Rob Davidson, Will Keogh and Macauley Madden.

Rob Davidson had a stunning weekend and taking the Kick Kawasaki's team first overall win, once again the youngster struggled with his starts in the opening race but rode a very mature race to get back up through the field and finished in fourth in the second race he got a much better start and dominated the race despite a crash he was still able to take the win.

Rob Davidson - "Milton was a really good day for myself and the MJW Kick Kawasaki team, I had been feeling really good leading up to the meeting and the bike was running really well. I had a really good qualifying session and got pole position. Going into the first race I was feeling strong after the qualifying session and knew I had good speed to push for the win.

I got a pretty good start and was lying in about eighth but crashed on the first lap and rejoined in about 15th place so I had a lot of work to do, I managed to get my head down and back through to fourth at the end of the race.

Going into race two I just needed to focus on my start, staying on the bike and having a good race, I got a good start and was up to about fourth but managed to make a push to the front, I was sitting pretty comfortable at the front but crashed on the penultimate lap and had to put all the effort in again to get back into the lead and finally won the race.

I'm really happy with the day, getting the win and leaving Milton leading the Championship it's a great feeling. The MJW Kick Kawasaki was awesome all day and I'd like to thank my Mum and Dad and huge thank you to Mark Woodage at MJW for making this happen. I'm looking forward to the last round now and getting some good results at the Red Bulls also."

Macauley Madden finished in 18th overall for the two races.

Macauley Madden - "I really struggled to get to grips with the track, it was really narrow and pretty hard to ride. I qualified in 22nd place. I got a really bad start in race one but luckily managed to pull it back through to 15th. In the second race I got a much better start and was running in a solid 12th place but with a couple of laps to go and the weather getting worse I had a big crash, I got back on and finished 21st just outside the points."

Will Keogh finished in 20th overall.

Will Keogh - "I had a pretty bad qualifying session in the morning which put me towards the back of the gate pick. In race one the gate pick showed but I managed to keep it together and picked up some good speed towards the end of the race and finished in 19th place.

In race two the conditions had taken a turn for the worst and the rain was coming down pretty hard, the track became extremely slippery in places which made it very challenging to stay on the bike I managed to bring the MJW Kick Kawasaki home in 18th position.

Milton really wasn't my type of track and it was hard work but I am really looking forward to getting to Desertmartin now and hopefully I can get some good results there."

 Team Owner Mark Woodage - "It's great to get our maiden win in our first season of racing and even more exciting that Rob goes into the final round with a seven point lead and holding the red plate.
