POOLE have confirmed Przemyslaw Pawlicki is in line to join the club as one of three changes as they look to turn around their 2013 fortunes.
Pirates promoter Matt Ford has elected to alter his team’s structure following the fractured shoulder-blade suffered by No.1 Darcy Ward, although a further re-shuffle could follow when the Australian regains fitness.
Ford said: “With results not having gone our way I then decided to bite the bullet, take full advantage of the points available and have submitted a new 1-7 to the BSPA, which is currently awaiting approval. The submission includes three changes.
“I feel that in doing this it will make the team stronger in depth, but I would like to emphasise to all our supporters that this in no way suggests that Darcy's career at Poole has ended.”

LAKESIDE co-promoter Jon Cook says the Hammers’ clash with Birmingham on Friday offers them a chance to show their play-off credentials.
The Brummies are currently in the Elite League’s top four with matches in hand, but Cook is optimistic his side can keep their own encouraging run going.
Cook said: “This is our boys’ chance to show we are up to the standard needed to be contenders and following Poole’s win at King’s Lynn on Wednesday we have a potentially very open season ahead.
“Birmingham, along with Swindon, look to be the class of the field to me and I think that this meeting could easily see the result not decided until the last few heats.”

RYE House youngster Jason Garrity suffered a broken leg in the Rockets’ KO Cup tie at Sheffield on Thursday.
Garrity’s crash in his second ride, which also saw him sustain an eye injury, took the shine off the Hoddesdon club’s 48-42 win on the night for a 20-point aggregate victory.
Rye promoter Len Silver said: “It was an heroic performance by all the riders, but a tragedy for the side. All the boys rode their guts out to produce a remarkable result without Jason.
“The three big scorers were of course Tyson (Nelson), Anders (Mellgren) and Olly (Allen), and Tyson was incredibly exciting. But all our thoughts are with Jason at the moment.”

SCUNTHORPE star Thomas Jorgensen has broken his shoulder in three places in a crash in Denmark.
Jorgensen was racing in the Fjelsted v Outrup Danish League fixture, and the meeting was abandoned after the incident in Heat 9 which also involved his team-mate Jesper Sogaard.
Scunthorpe are without a team fixture until they visit Edinburgh next Friday, and promoter Rob Godfrey said: “It certainly sounds like it was a nasty accident.
“Thomas has told me he hopes to be back in action quite quickly. We’ll be waiting for further updates from Denmark.”
