SWINDON have booked Great Britain captain Chris Harris to guest for absent skipper Hans Andersen in their Elite League match at Kings Lynn on Wednesday.Andersen is riding for his Danish club and has now been banned from riding in Swindons next two home meetingsThursdays return against the Stars, and the visit of Wolverhampton.Swindon co-promoter Gary Patchett said: This is a very unfortunate situation and we thank Bomber for stepping in for us in what will be a very tough meeting.Elsewhere in the Elite League on Wednesday, Przemyslaw Pawlicki returns for Poole in their home clash with Belle Vue, but Tomas H Jonasson is back on the sidelines after crashing in Sweden on Tuesday.(SPEEDWAY 2)

PETERBOROUGH star Linus Sundstrom has suffered a broken scaphoid in a crash in Poland.Sundstrom came to grief on Monday with x-rays confirming the break, and he will miss the Panthers home match against Belle Vue on Thursday.Peterborough co-promoter Trevor Swales said: Linus is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks.It is a blow of course, but well operate rider-replacement at home against Belle Vue which does at least mean everyone including Kenneth (Bjerre) can take an additional ride.(SPEEDWAY 3)

PLYMOUTH are set to bring in former Leicester rider Simon Nielsen, with the Dane expected to make his Devils debut against Berwick on Friday.Nielsen comes in for Chris Schramm, who was released following Plymouths 56-37 defeat in the reverse fixture at Berwick last weekend.Co-promoter Ashley Taylor said: We have spoken to Leicester and now it us just a case of getting official approval from the BSPA to re-declare our line-up.It is unfortunate for Chris. We were talking to him about his future after our away defeat at Leicester last month, but Ricky Kling went at that time and we decided to stay with Chris a bit longer.

NEWCASTLE have snapped-up Chris Schramm following his release from Plymouth, with Steve Worrall standing down from the Diamonds team.Worrall has had a tough season at Premier League level and will now focus on his National League racing for Kings Lynn.Newcastle promoter George English said: We seriously wish Steve well as we know what his potential is. Weve seen him take some spectacular wins over the last year and look forward to him taking more in the Diamonds colours in the future, and thank him sincerely for the efforts hes made for us in the past.Chris comes to us with bags of potential to be a big scoring reserve as he has a stack of experience to call on having ridden for many teams in his 13 year career at all team levels, not just reserve, and in this game experience counts for a lot.

DUDLEY maintained their 100 per cent National League record with a 56-36 home win over defending champions Mildenhall at Monmore Green.Ashley Morris, Paul Starke and former Fen Tiger Lewis Blackbird each dropped only one point throughout the meeting, as the Heathens made it three home wins out of three.Dudley boss Will Pottinger said: It was a really good result. The winning margin of 20 points was very pleasing especially as we were only eight ahead going into the last third of the meeting. We're really happy to get the three points and there were some very good performances.Meanwhile the Isle of Wight were totally dominant at the Smallbrook Stadium, recording a 68-22 win over Stoke with Adam Ellis and guest Lewis Kerr unbeaten, whilst Potters boss Malcolm Vasey is considering options following a series of recent setbacks.(FIXTURES)
