BERWICK boss Ian Rae says the clubs Premier League Fours success of 2012 was one of the biggest results in the Bandits history.Rae takes his side back to Peterborough on Sunday looking to repeat the feat with Ricky Ashworth back from injury and joined in the line-up by Kozza Smith, Robin Aspegen, Matthew Wethers and reserve David Bellego.Rae said: Winning that competition was a major achievement for a small, rural club like ours, and it gave everyone connected with the club a massive boost. It was a terrific day for the club and the supporters, and we will go back this week and try to repeat that success, theres no doubt about that.(SPEEDWAY 2)
SWINDON star Peter Kildemand scored a 15-point maximum as the Robins strengthened their position in the Elite Leagues top four with a 54-38 win over leaders Wolverhampton. The home side, who complete a busy week with a trip to Lakeside on Friday, reeled off 5-1s in the first three races to take control and Kildemand wrapped up his full house with a spectacular overtake of Tai Woffinden in Heat 15.Swindon boss Alun Rossiter said: We've had the bit between our teeth since a lacklustre performance against Birmingham. We had a good win at Belle Vue on Monday and that was a top performance from the boys who were really fired-up.Peter Kildemand was absolutely sensational for us, and I think that was a little reminder to the Danish team manager after he was overlooked for the World Cup.

WOLVERHAMPTON and Plymouth star Ty Proctor has been ruled out for the rest of the season.Proctor suffered nerve and muscle damage to his neck and back in a crash at Edinburgh in mid-May and now requires delicate surgery to repair the damage.Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: Obviously this is extremely bad news both for Ty and for the club. Its likely to be a six-month recovery process for him and the surgery is a delicate process. As a club we must now look at our options. Peter Adams (team manager) and myself will have a chat about things and we have no meeting next week because of the Speedway World Cup so we have some breathing space.(SPEEDWAY 4)
