Craig came off the worst gate in his last two rides and came from the back for two 5-1s with Claus, he was quite brilliant.(SPEEDWAY 2)
SCUNTHORPE promoter Rob Godfrey believes the point gained by his side at Ipswich on Thursday proves they can still challenge for a Premier League play-off place. The Witches held on for a hard-fought 47-43 win at Foxhall with guest Richie Worrall winning the vital Heat 15 but the Scorpions packed in for a 3-3 through David Howe and debutant Nicolai Klindt.Godfrey said: Nicolai was a joy to work with. He wanted Heat 15, and then made sure we got something out of the meeting. It would have been a travesty had we come out of it with nothing, and Nicolai combined with David to make sure that didnt happen. As far as Im concerned, were now back as a real force, and the rest of the league better start to take notice. And were only going to be even stronger once Ash (Birks) is back.

RYE House are celebrating their first Premier League away win of the season after a 48-44 success at Sheffield on Thursday.Rockets youngster Tyson Nelson won the last two races to see off a Tigers comeback and complete the Rockets second win of 2013 at Owlerton after a previous KO Cup victoryhaving previously failed to win at the Yorkshire venue since 1993!Promoter Len Silver said: We were running away with it at the start, admittedly with a little bit of luck but we took full advantage of it. The Tigers hit back as their big guns came into their own, but Tyson was absolutely screaming around the boards when he won the final two races. You also have to remember that we are still not at full strength. Jason Garrity was here to support the boys, and is now aiming to be back with us in a fortnights time. We are very confident about the future, and about really climbing the League table.
