GREAT Britain’s World Championship leader Tai Woffinden will have surgery in Derby after suffering a recurrence of his broken collarbone in Saturday’s Scandinavian Grand Prix.Woffinden is determined to take his place at the season finale in Torun on October 5 and secure the six points he needs to mathematically ensure the title. He said: “I’m 99.9 percent sure it’s broken. The pain is ridiculous. But it’s alright. I’ve got a two-week break now and I’m going to have an operation on Sunday night in Derby. Cheers to Jamie Dobbs for sorting that out for me.“It is what it is. It has been a long old season and you’ve heard a lot of national anthems. But the last national anthem you hear is the one that counts. In a fortnight’s time, you’re going to hear mine.”
