POOLE promoter Matt Ford insists Chris Holder’s UK future still lies at Wimborne Road - despite the former World Champion’s decision to miss out on full-time British racing next season.Holder will make his comeback in 2014 after missing the second half of this year’s campaign due to multiple injuries suffered in an horrific crash at Coventry.Ford said: “We are not saying that this is the end of our association with Chris. Indeed, far from it, and Chris has told us that should we find ourselves to be in a position like we did last season in needing cover during the season, we have only got to pick up the phone. “I would say to all of our fans that whilst Chris won't be in our one-to-seven for the start of next year no-one should rule out him appearing for us in an official capacity at some point in the future.”

RYE House stalwart Luke Bowen will stage a Testimonial meeting next season after a ten-year association with the Rockets.Bowen actually first appeared for the club at third-tier level in 2002, before a run of nine successive senior seasons was brought to an end by a broken thigh causing him to miss the 2013 campaign. He has made a combined total of 340 appearances for Rye’s two teams.Rye House promoter Len Silver said: “No other rider in the modern era has worn the Rockets colours with more pride than Luke. We have all watched him progress from his very shaky beginnings with the Raiders to become a powerhouse for the Rockets at Hoddesdon.“Luke’s bravery and loyalty over all those years certainly qualify him to be favoured with a Testimonial meeting. I will do my utmost to make it as successful as possible for him, and I know our fans will arrive in their thousands to support him.”
