Brad Bailey has today announced plans to put his personal racing career on hold for 2014, as he instead focuses on development of the family-run Brad Bailey Racing team by running a driver in the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2014.Having raced a Ginetta G40 since the cars inception in 2010, Bailey spent two years in the Ginetta Junior Championship, before he graduated into the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge where he remained for two seasons, finishing third overall in 2013.Committed to using his wealth of experience to further the careers of others, Bailey has chosen to lease out the car which took him to six podium finishes across seven meetings and saw him finish third overall in the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2013.Bailey said; "I have run my own car for the last two years in the GT5 Challenge Championship have enjoyed engineering and setting up the vehicle as much as I have driving it. Brad Bailey Racing have proven we can run a quick successful car and we look forward to seeing it in podium positions once again."Brad Bailey Racing will remain part of the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge thanks to its competitive nature and value for money racing as well as Brad's first-hand knowledge of the circuits. Bailey added; "I know the car inside out as well as all the tracks raced in the championship, so I believe I can be a great support to any existing or new drivers having excellent knowledge of the right setup and data for all the tracks."
