LAKESIDE have announced a Regional Charity partnership with Little Havens Hospice – and every point scored by the Hammers will be of benefit.Associate sponsors Skidmarques Ltd have pledged to donate £1 per race point throughout the season to the hospice, which is based near Thundersley in Essex and cares for children with life-limiting conditions. Supporters will be invited to assist with 1p per race point donations.Little Havens Community Fundraiser Peter Hall said: “The donations that we receive will be making every day count for local children and families from Thurrock and across the whole county affected by serious illness. We don’t charge a penny for our care and this is only made possible because of the generosity of the local community. “We want to wish Lakeside Hammers every success for a fantastic season and encourage people to come down to roar on the team at their race meetings. The more points the team win will mean more pounds are raised for Little Havens too.”
