Rent4Ring Racing hoping for third time lucky in VLN

Two races, two rollercoaster rides for theRent4Ring Racing Team in this year´s VLN Season at the Nurburgring.

Following two class victories and a podium finish in the first race of the year, the Swiss racers had to give up a certain class win just before thechequered flag in the Mazda in the second race.

Rent4Ring Racing are starting with three cars in the third championship run this coming weekend. Fredy Lienhard will steer the BMW 325i by Peter Bonk Performance together with team-mate Dale Lomas, who has previously successfully be running the Mazda MX-5. The BMW already proofed competitive in the season opener race and the team hopes for a good result.

´We already drove the 325i in the first race and it was a lot of fun since we were also very competitive´, says Fredy Lienhard. ´This year, not only the V4 class is really exciting and strongly fought. We have seen in the first two races that the entire VLN starting grid is really well and strong presented. We are convinced, that we will fight for the top positions and hopefully luck will be on our side again this time.´

In addition to the BMW 325i in V4, Ralph Beck and Anthony Toll will race the Mazda MX-5 in the V3 class. Ralph returns to his roots since he took home the championship win with Fredy in the 2013 season with the same car. The BMW 125i will start in VT2 with the drivers Frederic Ledoux from Belgian, Jens Noeske and Raphael Schmid.

The third VLN race and the 56th ADAC ACAS H&R-Cup will take place next Saturday at 12.00 o´clock and will last for four hours.
