After all the tough winter development work, the new Chevron GT3, GT4 cars and engines are about to be put to the test in a race for the first time.David Witt, team owner and driver said: “It has been a long winter of testing and development with the new Chevrons showing promise, however racing them for the first time is very different, anything can happen in the heat of battle. What we are looking for at Donington is simply to finish. The reality is we are going into a 36 car grid with two brand new cars and it’s going to be tough. We want to bring both cars home, anything after that is a bonus.“We are excited about the 2014 GT Cup season because, just like our cars, the series has been revamped and revised and we have an amazing grid of cars. Chevron Cars has supported GT Cup over a significant period of time and has been a part of building the series up and now we can’t wait to get going!”The first race of the 2014 GT Cup season roars in to action at 17:00 on Saturday 26 April. Race two kicks off at 14:00 on Sunday 27 April and the final race of the weekend commences at 17:45 that evening.
