Quotes

Oscar Nogues: “This result will satisfy the entire team. We had such a difficult year in 2013 that we decided to stop early because we were out of title contention. This win is very important and I hope that it will continue like this.”

Josh Files: “I wanted to get a good start then build a lead. Alas, it didn’t work out that way with Mikel charging through the field right from the first corner. I couldn’t re-pass him and the guys behind me wanted to overtake me! It was a hard, physical, tricky, but very clean race!”

Mikel Azcona: “For my first race at the European level, I am very pleased with what I was able to do today. It was a very intense race and I am very honoured to be on the podium at my home track.”
