Pal Kiss, My goal is to fight for Auto GP title

Tamas Pal Kiss will be on-track for his home race this coming weekend. The Auto GP championship will line-up at the Hungaroring circuit near Budapest on May 4th for the third round of the 2014 season, and Tamas will also celebrate one year in the series after he joined MLR71 in 2013 in Hungary to capture an impressive front row start. Then he moved to Zele Racing and Ibiza Racing Team before making his way back to the Austrian squad for 2014 and scoring a spectacular win in France at Le Castellet.

Tamas, how does it feel like to be a race winner?“I’m extremely happy. The car was perfect at Le Castellet. Plus I’ve been the best driver of the whole weekend and the result we got is a fantastic reward for the all the great work we did during the winter”.

What do you expect from your home race?“My goal for the season is to fight for the title, but unfortunately the retirement at Marrakech cost us points. At Budapest it would be good to be both times on the podium but I’m going to fight as hard as I can to let the fans hear their national anthem!”

You will have another chance to meet with your fans in a few days…“On May 1st there will be the traditional parade between the streets of Budapest, and I will drive my Zele Racing car. In addition to mine, there will be other five Auto GP drivers, the WTCC and DTM cars plus the Red Bull F.1 racers with drivers like Daniel Ricciardo and David Coulthard. Other national stars will be present including Zolt Baumgartner, Gabor Talmacsi and Norbert Michelisz”.
