RYE House have completed a sponsorship deal with Restart Drinks to back the club’s teams in both Premier and National Leagues this season.New stadium and club owner Warren Scott has extended his association with Restart, who already support his Team BMR British Touring Car Championship racing team.Scott said: “I am extremely excited about this year’s prospects in both the National and Premier League. Both Len and Andrew Silver have worked tirelessly over the winter months, securing what we believe to be really great teams. “It is great to be working with Len and Andrew with their vast wealth of experience, expertise, and knowledge that they bring to the Rye House Rockets and Rye House Raiders teams.”(SPEEDWAY 2)
BUXTON have named Sam Darroch as their No.8 for the 2015 campaign.The announcement means that the Hitmen now have all eight members of their squad in place ahead of the forthcoming season.Buxton Team Manager Jason Pipe said: “I wasn't going to name a No.8 yet, but I've had my eye on Sam for a few weeks now and he has impressed me with recent displays at Scunthorpe and Peterborough.“I like his attitude and confidence and I know he is a rider I'll be very happy to work with during the season ahead. Another club was also showing an interest in Sam, so I had to get in there now and make sure he was coming to Buxton.”

TEENAGE talent Danny Phillips has become the first asset of the new Peterborough promotion.The 18 year-old was unveiled ahead of the club's Press & Practice event at the East of England Showground on Thursday, having helped Cradley to last year’s National League title prior to moving to Stoke in the third tier this year – whilst he will also be racing in the Midland Development League for Castleford, who are staging their home meetings at Peterborough.Phillips said: "It is a great opportunity for me and I hope to be a good Peterborough rider in the future. I absolutely love the track here and I hope to get plenty of time on it.“I've known Ged (Rathbone) for all of my life. He has been a really big influence on me taking up speedway. There are lots of great people at Peterborough and I know the supporters are really good too.”
