Entries for SVRA, Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational Set To Close

SVRA announced today that the majority of race groups making up the SVRA Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational have been sold out and are now wait-listed for the June 10-14 event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Groups 2,3,4,6,7,8 and 9 are completely sold out. There are still limited spaces available in Groups 1, 5, 11, Pre-War and Oval Only. The Legends Pro-Am feature race is now also oversubscribed, with a couple of cars being wait-listed.

"We are thrilled with the response. I promised my team that we would limit the entries to between 550-600, after hosting 715 entries in 2014.” said Tony Parella, President and CEO of SVRA. “There will understandably be some disappointment, but this is what we have to do to manage this event in a quality manner.”

The Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational is growing exponentially. The addition of a first-of-its-kind Motostalgia Collector Car Auction in the Pagoda Plaza on the night of June 12, has raised considerable interest. There will be a all weekend long Unser Family Reunion and the 50th Anniversary of Jimmy Clark’s 500 win will be showcased with a display at the Pavilion. Saturday will also offer a huge car show along the lakes next to the golf course.
