Kevin Slyfield took his second career victory after final-round opponent Philip Englefield failed to repair crankshaft damage in time to offer a challenge.

Englefield had sustained the damage in his semi-final defeat of Andy Robinson, the best match of the day. Bobby Wallace had earlier earned the first pole position of his short Pro Mod career by just 0.002 seconds from Robinson, who then produced the event’s best performance figures (6.380sec/224.46mph) in the opening round of eliminations.
