A lot of effort from many people goes into this and for that we all have to be very happy, special mention goes to the pit crew who I thought did an impeccable job, gaining us valuable seconds on other teams’Team Principal and Lamborghini Driver Roald Goethe: ‘This Lamborghini was my first GT car ever, I acquired it in 2008 when I caught the racing bug, since then it had its various face lifts and upgrades and to now finally achieve a ELMS podium finish with it after so many years of racing duty by this workhorse is very special to me, cause this is probably the last year we can use this Lamborghini in competitive racing. A big thanks also to the GR team for impeccable preparation and Dan and Archie for great driving’.Lamborghini Driver Dan Brown: ‘I am really happy to finish on the podium with Roald and Archie in the Lamborghini. The Gulf Racing team all did a great job providing us with a fast and reliable car. Roald drove really well all weekend and handled his double duties in the ELMS and WEC like a Pro. Archie also did very well to jump in the car with limited testing and not make any mistakes all weekend’.Team Manager Matt Beers: 'It’s fantastic for us to get the results we have at the first race of the ELMS Championship, a great showing for the Lamborghini in GTC with a well-deserved podium and a very satisfying victory with the Porsche in GTE, exactly the start we wanted. The driving was exemplary across both crews and our pit stop team was exceptional, an excellent job done by the whole team, a lot of hard work in preparation has paid off, we are really looking forward to the next round.'The next race of the season takes place in Imola, Italy on the 17th May
