Villorba Corse to raise GT Open challenge with Balzan-Benucci

Italian team confirms one Ferrari 458 GT3 and a brand new crew in the Pro-Am category.

After confirming their entry in the Italian GT Championship, Scuderia Villorba Corse announces a second “Racing with Ferrari” top programme raising the challenge in International GT Open. Over the years Italian team was very successful in the series organized by GT Sport, also clinching an overall title with Andrea Montermini in 2013. Villorba Corse will face the 2015 International GT Open in Pro-Am with Alessandro Balzan and Nicola Benucci behind the wheel of the Ferrari 458 GT3.

Despite both Italian driver will be new to the series (Benucci also to the team), their target will be confirming the squad at the top of the standings in their own category. The new Villorba pair will be at Le Castellet on April 25-26 for the season opener. Estoril (May 10), Silverstone (June 7), Zeltweg (July 5), Spa (September 6), Monza (October 4) and Barcelona (November 1) will follow.
