Round 4: Tyneside Stages, 2 August
Simon Mauger took his third maximum score of the season by winning the Tyneside Stages Rally in his Metro 4M4.
Mauger and Jonathan Hawkins had a day-long battle with Damian Cole/Jack Morton, who were contesting their first championship round in the former’s recently-acquired Fiesta WRC.
Alex Laffey and 2014 Tyneside-winning co-driver Andrew Roughead were third in their Fiesta, with David Tinn/Giles Dykes (Proton Millington) close behind in fourth place.
