COVENTRY skipper Chris Harris has agreed his deal to return to Brandon next season.Harris will be going into his eleventh season with the Bees having won three Elite League titles and captained the club to the play-offs in the previous two campaigns. His weather-delayed Testimonial meeting is also set to go ahead on March 20.Harris said: “It’s great to be back, I’ve been part of the furniture at Coventry for many years and I’m looking forward to being captain again.“I’ve been discussing my ideas for the team with Mick (Horton), we’ve had many texts going between us, and also Chris Anderson who helps sort my deals out so I don’t have to stress about things!“I’ve always said I wanted to be riding for Coventry when I’m holding my Testimonial. I feel it would be unfair to hold it there if I was at another club, and I’ve always had such great support from the fans there over the years.”

MILDENHALL promoter Kevin Jolly has moved quickly to tie up crowd favourite Connor Coles for 2016 prior to his winter trip to Australia.Coles will return for a third season at West Row after making a successful comeback from a badly broken leg - and the club have also announced that KJM Road Sweepers will be their official team sponsors for a second year.Jolly said: “Connor has done incredibly well to come back from his injury and although he is a rider who always plays down his achievements he really looked to be coming back to his best late in the season. “I really feel this winter could be the making of him and on an average of only 5.61 he is in my opinion an absolute bargain.“In the current climate finding a team sponsor is no easy task and in Trevor Murkin and KJM we have the perfect partner. Of course there is the financial side but Trevor does so much more for the club behind the scenes and Mildenhall Speedway are very lucky to have a friend and partner like Trevor.”
