Trident GP2 and GP3 Bahrain Previews‏

GP2 AND GP3 SERIES SET FOR THE FINAL 2015 STINT

There will be four races in ten days for the GP2 and GP3 series in a middle-eastern tour-de-force starting next week in Bahrain and then moving over to the Abu Dhabi finale. Trident will be off to a challenging stint with Luca Ghiotto committed to holding the championship lead and fighting for the 2015 title. The Italian racer is lining-up with 196 points, two more than his first opponent, Esteban Ocon. The Trident GP2 team will also focus on scoring some well-deserved positive results in their final outing of the season. The four races still to go leave plenty of room to prepare a broad assault and finalize the effort provided throughout the whole season.The Trident team will feature two new additions in terms of the driver line-up. Alongside Raffaele Marciello, the GP2 roster will include Dutchman Daniel De Jong. The 23-year-old racer has lots of experience in the series, and will be making a long-awaited comeback after a heavy crash that occurred to him at Spa-Francorchamps last August and forced him to sit out of the championship in order to undergo a long recovery. The GP3 team will welcome back Michele Beretta, who made his debut at Sochi. The 21-year-old Italian will join Ghiotto and Artur Janosz.For the coming round at Al Sakhir, Bahrain, the schedule will be off to an early start. The GP2 and GP3 Series will be on-track on Thursday for practice and qualifying (10:40 AM for GP3, 12:20 AM for GP2). Race 1 will go underway of Friday for both categories, with the GP3 Series starting at 11:20 AM followed by the GP2 Seres at 13:30 PM. The GP3 Series will be the first to hit the track on Saturday too, with drivers lining-up at 7:00 AM for Race 2. The second race of the GP2 Series will take place at 8:45 AM. The races will be broadcasted in Italy by SkySportF1, with widespread international live coverage also available. All times GMT+1 (Central European Time).
