MILDENHALL have handed 17-year-old Luke Ruddick a return to West Row for a second National League campaign.Berwick-based Ruddick becomes the Fen Tigers’ sixth signing for 2016 having impressed the club with his commitment last season.Promoter Kevin Jolly said: “Luke showed plenty of potential on the track, especially early on when in one of the reserve berths, and especially when you consider his very limited experience. But what impressed me more was his commitment to the club and his desire to carve out a career in the sport. “I have nothing but admiration for the young man, he travelled hundreds of miles each home meeting to ride for us, and was fully committed to the club at all times. “He knows he needs to upgrade his equipment this winter to allow him to really progress as there is no doubting his natural talent. He is working hard to find sponsorship and we are looking at ways to ease his travelling and incidental costs.”
