You never know, the next Tai Woffinden might just be involved.“We've always been 100 per-cent behind the development of young British talent and it is great to see Neil Vatcher, of the Young Lions, and the BSPA doing all they can.“I'm hopeful that not just our own supporters, but all speedway fans, will turn out in force.”

EASTBOURNE have been boosted by an extension of their main team sponsorship deal with Sussex company IT First. The tie-up will go into a third season having begun when the Eagles entered the National League in 2015 - and have since won four trophies, although the league title itself has eluded them.Paul Goldsmith of IT First said: “As a life-long fan and being heavily involved in two of the best seasons in the club’s more recent history, I feel we still have some unfinished business. “I'm committed, and right beside Martin and Connor (Dugard) once more in pursuit of the League title, here's to another exciting season.”
