Nominations have opened for the annualInternational Historic Motorsport Awards, to bepresented on Saturday 26 February 2005, as partof the 2nd International Historic Motorsport Showat Stoneleigh Park.

Anyone involved in historic motorsport in anycountry, on two or four wheels, including motorclubs, event organisers, media and businesses, isinvited to submit nominations.

Awards will be made in the following 12 categories:

RACE MEETING OF THE YEARThis event will have impressed by its variety andstrength of entry and produced a spectacular,hard-fought day or weekend.

CHAMPIONSHIP OR SERIES OF THE YEARTo a championship or series which has beenwell-supported, hard-fought and enjoyable forcompetitors and spectators.

COMPETITION CLUB OF THE YEAROffering a varied choice of events, this club will havea healthy and active membership.

SPEED EVENT OF THE YEARChosen from the many non-circuit events which takeplace on hills, grass, strips or short ovals. Our sportis very diverse and all branches deserve support.

ROAD RALLY OF THE YEARA challenge for both driver and navigator, this eventwill have been organised by an efficient and friendlyteam.
