The 2nd International Historic Motorsport Show isofficially a sell-out. All available stand space atStoneleigh Park has been sold and anyone wishingto exhibit will now be placed on a reserve list.
As Europe's premier winter show for historicmotorsport, this month's Show offers something foreveryone involved in historic motorsport in anycountry, whether on two or four wheels, includingmotor clubs, event organisers, media and businesses.
Based at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, on 25-26-27February 2005, the International Historic MotorsportShow features over 500 exhibitors, three live events,three auctions (automobilia, models, cars &motorcycles), plus the sport's annual awards dinner(at The Chesford Grange Hotel on Saturday 26February).
Enthusiasts will see some of the greatest cars andmotorcycles ever used in actual competition, and canmeet some of the world's very best drivers and riders,including Pentti Airikkala, Jürgen Barth, Derek Bell,Russell Brookes, Alain de Cadenet, Paul Easter, TonyFall, Andy Green (holder of the World Land SpeedRecord), Paddy Hopkirk, Timo Makinen, Hannu Mikkola,Sammy Miller, Jim Redman, Martin Rowe, Jeff Smith,Rosemary Smith, John Surtees and Barrie 'Whizzo'Williams, plus engineering gurus Keith Duckworth, MikeCostin and Ben Rood (co-founders of Cosworth) andKen Rudd (Ruddspeed).
LATEST NEWS- The live autotest demonstration (see schedule below)features some of the world's top drivers, including PaulSwift (2004 British and BTRDA Gold Star Champion) inhis usual Mini Special; David Mosey (three-timesBTRDA Gold Star Champion and double BritishChampion) with a 1380 Mini; Gavin Dickson (2004BTRDA Silver Star Champion) driving a Vauxhall Nova;and Helen Perren in the Retrotester sports car.- As well as Hannu Mikkola in the very first AudiQuattro, the Live Rally Stage will now include JürgenBarth driving a Porsche 911 RSR and Martin Rowe ineither a Fiat 131 Abarth or a Lancia 037.
