Christodoulou to join Strakka for Intercontinental GT Championship

Adam Christodoulou will join Strakka Racing for three rounds of the Intercontinental GT Challenge this season.

Christodoulou will go straight into round two of the ICGT Challenge held at Laguna Seca in California, teaming up with a combination of Christina Nielsen (DNK), Dominik Baumann (AUT) and Adrian D’Souza (MYS).

The Intercontinental GT Challenge has run since 2016 and consists of five endurance events. The season’s concluding round will be revival of the famous Kyalami 9 Hours, the first time this race has been staged since 1982, Christodoulou will also travel to Suzuka in Japan for the penultimate championship round.

“I am really excited to join the team at Strakka Racing, and return to Laguna Seca for the first time since 2009. It’s going to be great to travel to Japan and South Africa and race at some new circuits for the first time too.” Adam said.

In 2009 Christodoulou won the final round of the Star Mazda Championship at Laguna Seca, securing him the championship title. Adam will make his return to the circuit in the Mercedes AMG GT3 on March 28th, hoping for an equally exciting performance.
