 London International Motor Show

New Logo Reflecting Innovation, Global Reach, and Automotive Evolution

The London International Motor Show (LIMS) has officially unveiled its new logo, marking a strategic visual evolution ahead of its highly anticipated 2027 event at Excel London.

The redesigned identity has been carefully developed to encapsulate the show’s expanding international footprint, forward-looking vision, and commitment to showcasing the future of mobility.

At the heart of the new logo is a stylized global backdrop, reinforcing London’s role as a central hub in the worldwide automotive industry. The inclusion of the globe signifies the event’s growing global participation—from manufacturers and innovators to visitors and media—positioning LIMS as a truly international platform.

Superimposed against this global canvas is the iconic London skyline, featuring recognizable architectural landmarks. This visual anchors the event firmly in its host city while celebrating London’s heritage as a centre of design, engineering, and cultural influence. The juxtaposition of global and local elements underscores the show's dual identity: globally relevant, yet distinctly London.

The trio of vehicles prominently displayed represents the diversity and future trajectory of the automotive sector. By showcasing multiple vehicle styles and colours, the logo reflects inclusivity across market segments—electric, performance, and urban mobility solutions—while symbolizing innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement.

The circular composition of the logo has been intentionally chosen to convey unity, continuity, and motion—core principles of the automotive world. It also mirrors the concept of wheels and movement, subtly reinforcing the industry’s essence.

“This new logo is more than a visual update—it represents the direction of the London International Motor Show as we move into a new era of mobility,” said Stephen Maitland-Oxley, the event director for LIMS. “It reflects our commitment to innovation, our global outlook, and our role in shaping the future of the automotive industry.”

The refreshed identity will be rolled out across all event materials, digital platforms, and promotional campaigns leading up to the 2027 show, scheduled for 26–28 February at Excel London.
