More airtime for John Guest

Popularity brings more airtime for John Guest Racing

More television time has been afforded to Team Eurotech after the success of the Sky Sports documentary series “Everyday is Raceday”.

The series has been extended from eight to 10 episodes thanks to the audience reception to the first two shows on Sky Sports, allowing fans of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship more opportunities to catch father-and-son racers Mike and Andrew Jordan in action.

Their John Guest-sponsored Honda Integras have taken two Independent class wins in this year’s BTCC and the programmes, produced by Pit Lane Productions, feature the highs and lows of the team throughout the gruelling season.

Producer Caroline Samuels said: “This is great news that Sky Sports has been happy enough to sanction further episodes. We are really pleased with the reaction from the public and we are looking forward to having more airtime to show the team in action.”

Driver Mike Jordan was equally enthusiastic: “We never expected that the series could be extended, nor that the reaction from the audience would be so positive. It is hugely flattering to think that there is so much interest in what we are doing and we’re delighted to have such a following for Everyday is Raceday already.”

The extra programmes – episodes nine and 10 – will go to air at the end of the BTCC season. Episode three, following the team’s two class wins from Donington, will be shown at 19:30 on Sky Sports Extra on Wednesday May 28 with four repeats.
