Jerez de la Frontera, right down in the far south of Spain plays host to four days of testing this week in what is the final F1 test session prior to the summer ban.

Spain was sizzling yesterday, with the afternoon's track temperature exceeding the 50  degrees  Celsius  mark,  which  might  prove  a  handy  experience  for  the  next Grand Prix in Hungary.

Our  Swiss  test  driver  had  a  good  day,  completing  his  entire  programme  and setting the fifth fastest time, working mainly on suspension, as well as carrying out other development work, both short and long term.

Mark Webber takes over today, when part of the Australian's programme will involve running slick tyres in preparation for 2009.
