Alexander Sims successfully defended his title in the second annual Renault Sport charity Duathlon.
The event, which on the day raised £250 towards the target of £500 for the North West Air Ambulance and Barnardo’s, took place at Oulton Park on Friday, 25th July.
Sims, who races for Manor Competition in the Formula Renault UK Championship, completed the three-lap course consisting of one cycling, one running and one cycling, in just over 27 minutes.
Renault Championship Manager Simon North was second, while Formula Renault UK driver Josh Scott was third. Ginetta Junior racer Simon Austin joined Formula Renault UK’s Dean Stoneman as the other drivers to take part, while Renault Race Centre staff,
Apotex Scorpio Motorsport mechanic Steve Lynch and Clerk of the Course Pete Roberts, who ran all three laps, also took part.
