(SPEEDWAY 1)COVENTRY manager Alun Rossiter has issued a stern warning to his riders that they must get their gating sorted.Rossiter was fuming after watching a recording of the Bees' 56-38 defeat at Wolverhampton on Monday,  which leaves them adrift at the foot of the Elite League table.Rossiter said: "I watched the video and, to be honest, I was mortified with what I saw. I cannot believe how bad our gating is and I would urge our riders to watch the recording urgently and see it for themselves."Most of them are losing so much ground from the start and I have to ask them the question of whether they really want to race for the club. If they don't, we will bring people in who do."I've been relaxed since I came into this job, I haven't looked to change too much, but I'm not scared to change it and we're approaching the point where we can do it."(SPEEDWAY 2)SOMERSET have followed up the signing of Lubos Tomicek by adding Mark Baseby to their line-up at reserve. The Rebels had to make new signings following the departures of Steve Boxall and Brent Werner, and the effect of the changes is that Ritchie Hawkins moves up into the main body of the side.Tomicek and Baseby will make their debuts on Friday against Workington, although the Rebels have a doubt over their other reserve, Tommy Allen.Allen fell in last Friday's clash with Scunthorpe and he is due to see a specialist this week to have a knee injury assessed.

PETERBOROUGH have been hit by the news that skipper Niels-Kristian Iversen has suffered a shoulder injury. The Danish star was taken to hospital after crashing in his home country on Wednesday, and definitely misses the Panthers' trip to Swindon.Team boss Trevor Swales said: "It is too early to say how long Puk will be out - we have to wait until we get a full medical report before we have a clearer idea of how bad the injury is."

KLAUS Jakobsen's future at Stoke is uncertain after the club confirmed they have applied to the BSPA for a facility to cover his absence.Neither the Potters nor Peterborough, where Jakobsen is a squad member, have been able to make contact with the Dane amid rumours that he has quit the sport due to family problems.Stoke promoter Dave Tattum said: "We've tried to contact Klaus and I've been informed that Danish team manager Jan Staechmann has attempted to contact him also, but neither of us has been able to contact Klaus at this moment in time. "I understand that Klaus also missed the Danish under-21 championship on Saturday night and we really don't know what is happening with him at this moment in time."
