FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIPThe High Speed Television channel has a host of special programmes to give viewers the complete picture of the World Rally Championship:  three one-hour highlight programmes on each day of the rally.

MX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – LIVEMotors TV broadcasts every round of the MX1, MX2 and Women’s MX World Championships Live and Exclusive.

August sees a heavy schedule for the riders with three rounds on the calendar, including a trip to Brazil. The races in Lommel, Belgium, will be screened on a Delayed-as-Live basis due to live coverage of the finish of the Spa 24 Hours.

Round 13, Brazil: Sunday 22 AugustMX2: Race 1 at 4pm and Race 2 at 7pm.MX1: Race 1 at 5pm and Race 2 at 8pm.SPA 24 HOURS - LIVEThe Ardennes classic held at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit makes its comeback on Motors TV. The 62nd edition of the race will enjoy around 8 hours of live coverage. This year the event is reserved for GT2, GT3 and GT4 machinery and with more than 40 cars expected on the starting grid, the race is not-to-be-missed.

Saturday 31 July: Live from 2.40pm until 4pm and then from 5.30pm until 8pm.Sunday 1 August: Live from9.30am until 11am and then from 1pm until 3.30pm. BRITISH RALLYCROSS – LiveThe format of rallycross events, with 100 two to three minute races per weekend, suits television particularly well.

After the first ever night event at Blyton, round 6 of the British championship is also Live on Motors TV.

Round 6, Lydden Hill: Monday 30 August – live from 1pmAMA MOTOCROSSTwo rounds of the AMA Motocross Championship, one of the world’s most prestigious, take place in August. Both the Open and Lites categories feature on the channel.

Round 8, Washougal: Tuesday 3 August at 7pm.Round 9, Unadilla: Tuesday 24 August at 7pm. BRITISH F3The single-seaters of the British F3 International Series take on another classic circuit with a trip to Spa-Francorchamps for round 6 of the season, before returning to the UK and Thruxton for round 7. Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne is leading the standings of a series renowned as a stepping stone to Formula 1.

Round 6, Spa-Francorchamps: Sunday 8 August at 8.40pm.Round 7, Thruxton: Sunday 15 August at 8.10pm.SCIROCCO R-CUP The new VW Scirocco R Cup is being billed as the first environmental motor racing event with cars powered by natural gas. The High Speed Television channel brings 26 minutes of highlights from each round, which regularly invites ‘legends’ to compete, including the likes of Jacques Laffite, Martin Brundle and double World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz.

Round 4, Nurburgring: Saturday 14 August at 8.40pm. AMERICAN LE MANS SERIESFrenchman Simon Pagenaud is making a name or himself in sportscar racing with a series of victories in the American Le Mans Series alongside his role as works driver with Peugeot. He currently leads the championship with Le Mans 24 Hours winner David Brabham. Three rounds will be shown on Motors TV this August.

Round 5, Lime Rock: Sunday 1 August at 6.30pm.Round 6, Mid-Ohio: Sunday 15 August at 6pm.Round 7, Road America: Sunday 29 August at 6pm.BEST OF BRITISH MOTORSPORT…FORMULA PALMER AUDI CHAMPIONSHIP – The fight for a £100,000 F2 scholarship gathers pace as the field of budding single-seater stars head to Oulton Park and Donington.Oulton Park, Thursday 05 August at 8:10pm.Donington Park, Thursday 26 August at 8:10pm.

DUNLOP GREAT & BRITISH FESTIVAL – The UK’s best grass-roots motorsport festival travels to Castle Combe and Brands Hatch with Sport Max, Mini Challenge, Radical UK Cup, CSL Cup and Autosport Young Guns all on the bill.Castle Combe, Saturday 07 August at 6pm.Brands Hatch, Saturday 28 August at 6pm.

MSA ASPHALT RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP – Britain’s national tarmac rally championship tackles the ALMS stages in Ireland and the Tyneside stages in the North East of England.Round 5, ALMC Stages, Saturday 14 August at 10:20pm.Round 6, Tyneside Stages, Saturday 28 August at 10:20pm.

SANTA POD EXTRAVAGANZA – The original and best VW festival is back with VW Drag Racing, track action, music, comedy and entertainment all on the bill!Bug Jam 24, Wednesday 18 August at 7:05pm.

BRITCAR – An eclectic mix of GT and production cars will do battle in round 5 of the 2010 season at Snetterton.Round 5, Snetterton, Saturday 21 August at 7:35pm.

CASTLE COMBE 60th ANNIVERSARY – A special programme covering the celebrations at Castle Combe’s ‘Diamond Anniversary Meeting’ which marks 60 years of racing at the Wiltshire circuit. Includes highlights of the track’s FF1600, Saloon Car and Sports & GT championship and Anniversary Trophy race.Saturday 29 August at 2pm.
